Hardscrabble Ranch is a guest ranch only thirty minutes away from either Bozeman or Livingston while still isolated from the bustle of human activity. At the base of the Bridger Mountains on Brackett Creek, you can enjoy stunning views of Ross Peak and close access to Bridger Bowl Ski Area and Crosscut Mountain Sports Center.

We love hosting weddings at Hardscrabble Ranch! Ross Peak is a beautiful backdrop for couples seeking to commit to each other among their closest friends and family. Weddings at Hardscrabble are at least two-day events – part reunion, part celebration, good vibes only! We offer two lodges year-round as well as glamping tents in the summer so your guests can move in and enjoy the mountains of Montana. Glamping Tents

Scenic Brackett Creek runs through our 78-acre property, and along its banks are our fifteen glamping tents that we offer in the summer months. Each tent has a deck with two Adirondack chairs, hand-made king size or twin beds, comfy mattresses, and double comforters to ensure a warm, cozy stay. A restroom trailer with three full bathrooms is available for all glamping guests.

We are excited to offer our super comfortable lodges and fifteen luxurious glamping tents for the upcoming Spartan Races. We are just a few miles from Crosscut Mountain Sports Center, the venue for the Race, so if you are looking for sleeping accommodations, Hardscrabble is a great place to book your team or group!

Family Reunions & Retreats

Make Hardscrabble Ranch your Guest Ranch for your group’s adventures. Secluded and stunning, you can truly get away from it all at Hardscrabble. This summer, we’re offering glamping tents to enhance the guest ranch experience.  This is in addition to the two lodges that sleep up to 24 guests. There are no glamping tents in winter, but the lodges are available.

Hardscrabble Ranch offers two lodges for our ranch guests to call home that can sleep up to 24 guests. These lodges offer fully equipped kitchens, comfortable bedrooms, a bunk room, game room, and common areas to let you move in and relax in the mountains.
